FAME —
FOUR STEPS. One ORDER.
Fear. Amplify. Mirror. Ecology. FAME is the method under everything I do. It finds what's really stopping you, follows it back to where it got so loud, and changes it for good. Every Design Edit, every Brief and every Review runs on it, in this order. Skip a step and it doesn't work.
No. 01 — F
Fear.
Every stuck thing starts with a fear. Not the dramatic kind. The quiet one that says don't, once, in the moment, then gets out of the way.
Human Design names seven of them: failing, not knowing enough, the past, the future, being judged, being responsible and it all being for nothing. You carry some. You pick the rest up from the people around you. A real fear is seconds long. Everything after that is something else.
WHAT I LOOK FOR
- Which of the seven fears are yours, and which you're borrowing
- Whether it's yours to keep or just passing through
- The message itself, before the story attaches to it
No. 02 — A
Amplify.
Then something turns the volume up. A fear that should last seconds runs for weeks, because something in your design is feeding it.
Three things do it: nerves that rise and fall with your mood, a mind that won't stop working the problem, and pressure to act now, right now, immediately. None of them are the fear. All of them make it louder.
WHAT I LOOK FOR
- What turns your fear up, and when
- Whose volume you're running on
- The tell: how you catch it happening in real life
No. 03 — M
Mirror.
This is what's actually happening. Underneath the fear and the noise there's a behaviour you keep repeating, and it's begging to be seen.
The over-delivering. The underpricing. The yes you regret by Thursday. It isn't a flaw. It's a mirror, showing you the belief that's been quietly running the show.
WHAT I LOOK FOR
- The hidden behaviours that keep coming back
- The belief sitting underneath them
- What your life keeps mirroring back to you
No. 04 — E
Ecology.
Then it changes, and it changes properly. Nothing shifts without love, safety and belonging, so that's where we start.
We take the fear, how it got so loud and the belief underneath it, and ask one question: what's true now? Then we build what you need around you so the new answer sticks.
WHAT I LOOK FOR
- What's true now, not what was true then
- What you need to feel safe enough to change
- How the change becomes part of your 30/60/90 plan
FAME — IN ORDER
Find it. Then change it.
The Design Edit shows you where to start. The Design Brief takes it all the way through, from the fear to what's true now.
