Who I am and what's on offer

ELEA is run by Alex Darby, a sole trader in the UK, trading as ELEA ("I", "me"). Contact: [email protected], Llwyn-y-Pia Road, Cardiff CF14 0TX.

Prices include any VAT that applies. Everything is delivered digitally; nothing is posted.

Credit towards a Brief: if you buy a Design Edit and then upgrade to a Design Brief within 6 months of buying the Edit, the £95 you paid comes off the Brief price.

Buying

• You must be 18 or over to buy.
• Every reading is written by hand, so there are only so many a week. When a week is full, the checkout closes and you can join the waitlist. A waitlist place isn't a purchase; I'll email you when a slot opens, first come, first served.
• Payment is taken in full at checkout through Kajabi's payment providers. Your order is confirmed when you get the confirmation email.
• What you need to give me: your date, time and place of birth, and answers to the questionnaire. The delivery clock starts when your questionnaire arrives, not when you pay.
• Accuracy matters. Your chart is calculated from the birth details you give. If the time is wrong or a guess, the reading may be less precise; that's not a fault in the reading. If you find your real birth time later, tell me within 30 days of delivery and I'll recalculate the chart and correct the reading once, free.
• If I can't deliver on time because of something outside my control, I'll tell you as soon as I can and give you the choice of waiting or a full refund.

Cancelling, refunds and rescheduling

Your 14-day right to cancel. If you're buying as a consumer, UK law gives you 14 days from purchase to change your mind. Because each reading is written personally for you, it works like this:

• Before I start: cancel any time before you send your questionnaire and you'll get a full refund.
• Once you send your questionnaire, you're asking me to start straight away. If you cancel after that but before delivery, I'll refund you minus a fair amount for the work already done.
• Once your reading is delivered, the service is complete and the right to cancel ends. By submitting the questionnaire you confirm you understand this.

To cancel, email [email protected]. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days.

After delivery. If something in your reading is factually wrong (the wrong chart, say), tell me within 30 days and I'll fix it. I don't refund because a reading said something you didn't want to hear.

Design Reviews.

• Reschedule free with at least 48 hours' notice.
• Missed sessions, or changes with less notice, count as used, unless there's a genuine emergency; tell me and we'll sort it out.
• If I need to move a session, you choose a new time or get that session refunded.
• Three-session packs must be used within 6 months of purchase.

The Library

• £27 a month, taken automatically on the same date each month.
• Cancel any time from your account or by email. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for; there are no part-month refunds.
• Your 14-day right to cancel a new subscription ends as soon as you start accessing the Library content, and you confirm this at checkout.
• I'll give at least 30 days' notice by email of any price change. You can cancel before it takes effect.

What a reading is, and what it isn't

Human Design is a framework for understanding how you work. It isn't a science, and nobody can promise what you'll do with it. Each reading combines your chart with my experience in coaching and business strategy, to help you think and decide more clearly.

It isn't medical, psychological, financial, legal or tax advice, and it doesn't replace a doctor, therapist, accountant or solicitor. Where a reading touches on energy, food, sleep or your body, it's coaching, not diagnosis or treatment. If you have a health concern, see a qualified professional.

The decisions are yours. I'll give you my honest read and my best thinking. What you do with it, and the results, are down to you. I don't guarantee any particular income, outcome or result.

My work, your copy

Your reading is yours to use. Keep it, reread it, share it with your partner, coach or team. Please don't publish it, resell it or pass it off as your own work.

The method stays mine. ELEA, Self-Made Design®, FAME®, Non-Negotiables, The Layer Cake, the Design Edit, Design Brief and Design Review, and the frameworks, wording and materials behind them belong to me. You can't copy them, teach them or use them in your own products without my written permission.

Testimonials. If you send me feedback, I'll only publish it, or your name, with your permission, and I'll never edit it to mean something you didn't say.

Liability

• If I let you down, I'm responsible for loss you could reasonably have expected, up to the amount you paid for the product in question.
• I'm not responsible for business losses (lost profit, income or opportunity) from decisions you make after a reading or session.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow me to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Complaints

If something's not right, email [email protected] and tell me. I'll reply within 5 working days and aim to fix it within 14.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

I may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one on the site when you bought.
